Have you ever wanted to save seeds-but did not know where to start?  In this workshop learn how to save your garden seeds for years to come.

Learn how to save seeds from your garden to use in future years. This workshop will cover the basics of seed saving, pollination, and selection. From flower seeds to vegetables seeds, our goal is to empower you with the knowledge of how to collect and store your delicious and beautiful plants for this year to grow out in future generations.  

This is the first of two Seed Saving workshops. 

Join us for one workshop or both based on your interest and experience.

In the second workshop, we will discuss techniques for winnowing seed, storage, and maintaining your seed collection.  

About the instructor: Marisha has lived and practiced permaculture in both urban and rural environments. As an avid gardener and herbalist, she specializes in food production, ecology, and useful plants. Marisha Auerbach is an internationally recognized permaculture educator, designer, and speaker based in Portland, OR.  She believes that it is possible to respond to the current environmental challenges, lower our ecological footprint, and continue to live equally delightful lives through permaculture design.
