When confronting the climate crisis, many people can get stuck in inaction: Some are overwhelmed by their own emotions, while others are overwhelmed by not knowing what they can do.
This participatory class will explore:
our feelings around climate breakdown and emotional coping tools
possible actions to help the climate starting with where we're at and what's available to us
This session will apply permaculture design thinking to our personal lives and to our communities. Please note that since this class will involve personal reflection, small group discussion and sharing, we recommend that folks attend the session live if possible; the participatory portions of class will NOT be recorded.
*This workshop is part of a Permaculture Speaker Series hosted by the Beacon Food Forest and Tilth Alliance. The goal of this series is to focus on climate solutions that are creative and relevant in our urban communities. Learn more about the exciting lineup of speakers and the topics they'll be sharing here.
