Get your hands dirty
Come to a work party and engage in activities to help develop and maintain the Beacon Food Forest. ALL ages and skill levels are welcome. Lunch will be served. Bring your gloves and head over because we want to see you, rain or shine. Orientations for new volunteers are offered at every work party. Check the calendar for the next work party.
During summer we have sunset labs, maintenance and harvest of the Helix farm plot, wetland restoration and various other tasks as they come up. Come by a site development meeting (see calendar) or email the volunteer coordinator for more information.
Sign Up for a P-Patch
The Beacon Food Forest is one giant P-Patch (garden). Sign up to tend your own plot. Volunteer hours as well as a small fee are required to maintain a P-Patch. Sign up is done through the city of Seattle.

We invite organizations or large groups to come help on site. Email our group visits coordinator to get matched up with some volunteers that will help coordinate tasks and planning for the big day out of the office.
The Beacon Food Forest is global. People from Taiwan, Ukraine, France and many others have visited to understand just how the magic happened here.
