GROWING Cane Berries: Care and Propagation

Raspberries, Black Berries, Marion Berries, Boysenberries, Logan berries are all cane growing berry plants that thrive in our gardens. These soft and delicious fruits are easy to grow and share with your friends and families.

 

Learn how to plant, manage, and propagate these berries for abundant harvest through the summer. We will cover soil, trellises, ever-bearing and summer bearing, root tipping, patch management, and food and storage ideas for bumper harvests We will do hands-on activities in the food forest to bring the concepts to life. Bring gloves and dress for garden work.

TAUGHT by Jackie Cramer

Jacqueline Cramer Is a Permaculture  designer, landscaper, educator. She has served the land and community for over 25 years, working with farmers, school gardens, and  urban farming projects. 
She runs Earth Care, a landscape company focused on regenerating landscapes, communities and our connections to the land.
