Bio-Char 101

We will bring several biochar kilns to show how to use them for cooking and medium scale processing of coarse woody debris. We will use the material from the BFF site to make charcoal and begin the process of charging the char in our composting area. Class costs $20 with some sliding scale available, click on ticket link. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Kid friendly. Bring water and dress for the weather. Classes take place rain or shine. Contact: Peter@alleycat-acres.org with any questions.
